On saw blades, tooth count directly shapes the result: fewer teeth cut fast and rough, more teeth cut slower but cleaner. If you want no chipping on coated and laminated surfaces, a high tooth count is needed. Fitting dimensions must match: for blades the outer diameter and bore, and for drill bits the shank type (cylindrical, SDS, hex) must suit the machine. Check the figures in your machine manual before ordering — this is the most common source of mismatch.
